Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max, the flagship 3-inch tablet equipped with Xring O3 chip and LPDDR6 memory, is released

Xiaomi also unveiled its flagship tablet Mi Pad 9 Pro Max with a 13.3-inch display along with its foldable smartphone Mi 18 Fold. The machine uses an all-metal casing with a thickness of only 5.67 mm and a weight of 645 grams.

Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max is based on the flagship 3nm Xring O3 processor and is equipped with Xring NPU. According to Xiaomi’s internal testing at the press conference, the performance of the new chip is close to that of Apple’s M5 computer processor in terms of multi-core tasks and graphics acceleration.

The 13.3-inch display has an aspect ratio of 3:2, supports 3.4K resolution (3408×2272 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate. The monitor has a peak overall brightness of 1000 cd/m22 Color accuracy with Delta E approximately 0.47. Xiaomi also offers an optional Nano Soft Light screen version, designed to reduce glare and surface reflections.

There is a 32-megapixel camera for video calls. There is also a 50-megapixel camera for photo and video shooting. The 8-speaker audio system with 6 microphone arrays provides high sound quality and supports noise reduction, Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res certification.

The tablet’s autonomy is guaranteed by a 12,000 mAh battery with support for Xiaomi Surge Charge fast charging technology with a power of 120 W. The DP-in (DisplayPort input) port allows you to use the tablet as an additional PC monitor, graphics monitor, or external console screen.

The device’s specifications also include support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and a full-featured USB Type-C port. The base version of the tablet comes with 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM. The mid-range version is equipped with 12GB LPDDR5T, and the flagship version is equipped with 16GB LPDDR6. These versions come with 256, 512 GB and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 flash memory respectively.

Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max runs the new Surge OS 4 (Xiaomi HyperOS 4.0) operating system, which is designed for large displays and desktop-level workflows. It also supports professional tools such as WPS for Pad, CapCut Pro and Pixel Cake. Scalable multi-window layout supports multitasking with up to six windows simultaneously.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 9 Pro Max with 8/256 GB memory is priced at approximately $715. The Xiaomi Soft Light variant with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage costs around $1,177.
