At the IFA 2026 electronics show in Berlin carpet brand Officially announced Smartphone Xsnap 7 Pro. The manufacturer lists the device’s features, cost, and sale date. The new product will be on display together with other RugOne products in Hall 3.2, Stand 137, until September 8th.
Xsnap 7 Professional Edition Becoming the basis for the third important equipment series under the RugOne brand. It is the world’s first smartphone to offer the highest level of security with a professional-grade modular action camera. Therefore, the device can be called an “all-weather imaging system suitable for any terrain.”
This is achieved through the use of a detachable magnetic module that instantly transforms from a smartphone camera into an action camera. The module alone weighs 39 grams and can be attached to a helmet, bicycle or other object with magnets. The camera records on its own, and when connected to a smartphone, it charges via the smartphone and transfers the footage via a wireless connection.
The video resolution is 2.7K, the frame rate is 30 fps, and the ultra-wide-angle field of view is 133°. Supports intelligent distortion correction to ensure objects are straight and natural. SteadyX software algorithm and Horizon Lock technology are designed to keep the frame in a horizontal position when rotating 360° and shooting dynamic sports events. You can shoot videos, photos, HDR photos as well as FreeFrame mode, time-lapse, loop recording, slow motion and pre-recorded videos.
Additionally, with 64 GB of built-in storage, the module has a runtime of up to 40 minutes and can save 8 hours of video at 1080p resolution. The footage can be transferred to the smartphone’s 512 GB storage capacity. The battery capacity of this smartphone is 9300 mAh, which can charge the action camera up to 20 times.
Thanks to its water resistance, you can shoot at a depth of up to 5 m. The camera does not require a separate housing and can be securely mounted in a smartphone holder using its raised edges. This module mounts on the recommended magnetic stand or a third-party manufacturer’s universal mount. This allows the action camera to be used in a variety of scenarios, such as handheld, belt-mounted or mounted shooting.
With the Xsnap Go app, real-time monitoring is possible from a distance of 50 m and captured frames can be edited on a 6.67-inch smartphone screen. The package includes a charging base and a lens protective cap.
Xsnap 7 Pro meets IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H protection standards. The device can be immersed in water up to 2m deep for 30 minutes. It can withstand a 1.5m drop to concrete and dust. The display is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus. The smartphone is available in Dune and Classic Black color options. It features Aura Pulse lighting on the back, which draws your attention when your phone rings, gets a notification, or plays music.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8400 5G processor. RAM LPDDR5X capacity is 12 GB, UFS 4.0 storage capacity is 512 GB. This display is an AMOLED with a resolution of 1.5K, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1700 nits. The battery supports 45W fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. There’s eSIM support, there’s an in-display fingerprint scanner and two shortcut buttons.
In addition to the removable module, the Xsnap 7 Pro is also equipped with a main lens on a Samsung GN9 sensor with a resolution of 50 million pixels and optical and electronic image stabilization. It improves shooting quality by supporting artificial intelligence algorithms and supports 4K resolution recording. Infrared night vision cameras are also available, capable of producing clear images in complete darkness. With it, you can observe nature or work in the dark. The front camera resolution is 32 megapixels. Finally, a built-in underwater camera mode is also available.
Xsnap 7 Pro runs on Android 16 operating system. The manufacturer plans to update the smartphone to Android 20. The system comes pre-installed with Google Gemini and RugOne, a proprietary artificial intelligence software suite. It provides instant translation between languages, loop search, call summarization, writing assistance and mathematical handwriting recognition. ChatGPT and Grok chatbots are also installed.
The secure smartphone Xsnap 7 Pro will be available for pre-order on the portal on September 7 Crowdfunding. The initial cost of the first units is €799. International sales will start in stores in October AmazonRugOne and global retailers, priced at €1,099.99 in Europe and $999 in the United States.
