PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be based on Jujutsu Kaisen, changing the usual battlefields and adding themed objects. The partnership will affect all major modes, including regular matches, ranked games, and casual modes.
Special Jiu-Jitsu counterboxes will be placed on the starting islands of all maps. Players can throw mysterious spheres at them, and after hitting them 20 times, a statue of Gojo Satoru will appear. “The Endless Void” is activated around her – the effect will last for 15 seconds. On Erangel, some warehouses will be turned into themed spaces, complete with characters, photo areas, and vending machines selling healing and enhancement items. Additionally, aircraft and cargo on all maps will be themed, and Erangel advertising boards will be decorated with images from the anime.
New progressive weapon skins will appear in the Hideout, the main one of which will be Ryomen Sukuna – Beryl M762, with ten levels of improvements. As players level up, they will receive new effects, check animations, kill feedback designs, death boxes, and kill effects. To obtain skins, special Ryomen Sukuna containers will be available, which can be opened using G-Coin or themed coupons. On PC, sales will begin on September 10th after technical work is completed and run until October 14th; on consoles, sales will run from September 17th to October 22nd.
