A few days after the global launch, Huawei Watch GT 7 and GT 7 Pro smartwatches started selling in Russia. The new product features an updated design, new training modes, and long battery life of up to 21 days without recharging.

The base version of the Huawei Watch GT 7 smartwatch has a stainless steel case with a diameter of 46 mm (weight – 51.3 grams) and 41 mm (weight – 36.5 to 37.6 grams, depending on the model). The flagship version of the Watch GT 7 Pro comes with a titanium case and a nanotechnology ceramic bezel with a special scratch-resistant coating.
The AMOLED display of the Watch GT 7 and GT 7 Pro models with the 46 mm case has a diagonal of 1.47 inches, and the AMOLED display of the Watch GT 7 model with the 41 mm case has a diagonal of 1.32 inches. Peak screen brightness is 3000 cd/m22providing clear images even under direct sunlight. To protect against moisture and dust, this smartwatch complies with IP69 standards and has a waterproof rating of 5ATM. The Watch GT 7 Pro version also supports free diving to a depth of 40 m.
This smartwatch uses Huawei’s proprietary TruSense system to monitor stress levels and emotional background around the clock, record physical activity during the day and sleep quality at night, and provide users with personalized recommendations based on these data. In addition, the Watch GT 7 Series can continuously monitor pulse waves and identify possible heart rhythm disorders. The Watch GT 7 Pro version also adds an electrocardiogram function.
The company has added new modes for winter sports training (skiing and snowboarding) to the Watch GT 7 series, as well as a new mode for cycling training with climb tracking. Even when GPS navigation is unavailable, the smartwatch tracks activity, accurately recording distance, speed and overall descent.
Huawei Watch GT 7 provides access to maps of more than 3,000 ski resorts around the world in the Huawei Health app. There is also a turn detection function, centrifugal load calculation during sharp turns, and a team competition mode that tracks the position of teammates in real time.
In outdoor riding mode, the device provides real-time climbing plans and announcements, and warns of sharp turns with vibration and voice alerts. Based on your workout results, the smartwatch provides AI-based suggestions to improve your performance.
The 46mm Watch GT 7 and GT 7 Pro last up to 21 days with minimal use, and the Watch GT 7 41mm lasts up to 14 days.
The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro is priced at 32,999 rubles, and the Watch GT 7 smart watch is priced at 25,999 to 27,999 rubles. Depends on model and color.
