Trust is not highly valued in the underground Skaven Empire of Total War: Warhammer 3, but even among these rats, Tangul has earned a reputation as an extremely unreliable and ambitious schemer. Now, the legendary Gray Seer will continue a new campaign, and he will use the hands of others to carry out his plans.
The main feature of Thanquol is the “Master Plan” – special operations of a military, economic and magical nature. The lord himself doesn’t care about such small things, so he delegates tasks to his subordinates with unique skill trees. The Military Plan allows you to secretly raise an army and launch surprise attacks on selected settlements, the Economic Plan allows you to organize the theft of gold, food, or Twisted Stone, while the Magical Plan offers powerful rituals including summoning the Parasite King or destroying a province with meteorites.
In this case, the implementation of each plan becomes a separate game. Each turn, subordinates receive random “plans” that can enhance actions, but over time, complexity emerges – for example, additional defenders for settlements. Tangul can reach out to other Skaven clans to exchange warpstone for new plans and strategies that will help eliminate problems or increase their chances of success.
In battle, Tangul will gain access to the entire Skaven arsenal and new deadly abilities. He is able to summon vermin lords, including the legendary Vermin Screamer, and fight as an accomplished mage and warrior. Using the spells of the School of Plague and Destruction, the Gray Seers can summon a band of Stormcloaks using the forbidden Thirteenth Spell, and use the Twisted Stone to enhance their magic. Later he got Boneripper, a giant rat ogre with a flamethrower.
Screech Vermingking will become a legendary hero and powerful demon, able to combine magic with devastating attacks. In addition to himself, Tangul has four rat lords at his disposal, each specializing in a certain fighting style. For example, Verminlord Corruptor relies on plague to weaken opponents and strengthen his own army.
