The vast autumn of Sea of Thieves begins with a massive amount of activities. September 2026 promises to be very busy: the developers have prepared a busy schedule including in-game events, gifts and the long-awaited launch of Season 21.
Although the month begins with farewell to the upcoming 20th season, weekly events still keep players excited. Fight Nights take place every Tuesday and reward more dedication to fighting with the Hourglass of Destiny. Wednesday is the Messenger of Fortune, and trading companies increase rewards for sailing under the Messenger’s flag. On September 11, a new track “Weatherbound” specially created for the new season will be released on the music platform, and the Bilge Rats Weekender event will be held from September 11 to 14. These days, brave souls will be able to earn 300 doubloons for completing quests via Ashes in a Vial, while trading companies will offer more gold and reputation for turning in Ashes loot.
The highlight of the month is the start of Season 21, scheduled for September 17th. Updates will focus on regular Live activity, as well as continuing to improve user server functionality. Players can look forward to fresh cosmetics, a free Season Pass with new rewards, and a Premium Pass featuring the terrifying Mutiny’s Mark series designed to scare the rebels.
