Publisher Take-Two and studio Rockstar Games have repeated the midnight pre-order program, confirming a similar release schedule for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6. According to GTAVice’s analysis of PlayStation Store regional pages, the game’s global launch will take place at midnight local time around the world.
Players from New Zealand will be the first to enter the virtual world, while users from North and Central America will be exposed to the program later than others. Traditionally, console players on Xbox Series X/S have been able to cheat by changing the system region to New Zealand, while PS5 users will need to create a local account.
Client pre-loading will begin on November 12th, and the official version is expected to be released on November 19th.
