Day two of the prestigious Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which takes place before the Primetime Emmys, the major television awards ceremony, concludes in Los Angeles. The night saw awards for guest actor in a comedy and series, as well as supporting actor in a miniseries – the first time these awards have been moved from major television.
The main win of the night was for the drama series Widow’s Cove, which took home eight awards, including Best Comedy Guest Actress for Betty Gilpin. “Spider-Noir” won five statuettes two days after announcing its closure on Prime Video.
Shailene Woodley also received her first career award (Heaven) dramatic roles and Ernest Harden Jr. (Pete), the Comedy Guest Award was posthumously awarded to Rob Reiner for his performance in Season 4 “Bear”.
