New content has arrived on the Star Wars: The Old Republic public test server, including the second boss of Operation Sons of Nur and Classic Mode as part of a new risk system for the Jedi and Agent classes.
Ventures is a new way to play SWTOR that retains the feel and mechanics of the game launched 15 years ago while providing more challenging gameplay challenges. Each “adventure” requires players to complete specific objectives; challenges, special opponents with unique loot, and other surprises await them.
Classic is the first of two planned difficulty levels, comparable to the current Veteran level. The second, more complex option “Expert” will correspond to the current Master level and will be available later. The Jedi and Agent storylines are already available for testing in Classic mode.
For those looking forward to Operation Sons of Nur continuing, a battle with the Force Beast boss awaits. You can reach it through the stage portal in Odson; in the room with the boss there is a special robot that allows you to adjust the balance (similar to how it was done in the fight with the previous boss – Acolyte Nul).
The content is not protected by a non-disclosure agreement, and the developers made it clear in the update announcement that they “welcome videos of attempts to complete and defeat the boss.”
