After launching Disc to Digital to Insiders a few weeks ago, many players were surprised that Microsoft didn’t publicly disclose the number of supported games. Players organized themselves, and now you can discover Checklistmore than 1,500 games have been confirmed to run in the program, and this number is growing.
The Xbox team responded to the need to give back, and now Reddit has a separate threadMicrosoft announced changes to disc-to-digital. In recent days:
- Electronic Arts’ Split Fiction, A Way Out and It Takes Two games are already available in the program.
- Fixed a known issue where add-on content on purchased digital game discs might not function properly if the disc was not inserted. For example, we’re talking about extra modes or unlockable materials. Notable games affected include Red Dead Redemption II and Battlefield 6. These discs do not require a reboot.
- Ubisoft games are already available in the program.
- Fixed an issue with Alan Wake II Deluxe Edition (some players did not receive the Deluxe Edition add-ons) and Halo Infinite (the disc did not have a campaign license).
As a reminder, Disc to Digital is currently being tested in all Xbox Insider groups. It’s not yet clear when it will be released.
