Varyag Studios has announced the opening of recruitment and closed beta testing of its real-time tactics game Recon: 1944. Although the main work on the project has been completed, the authors intend to refine the balance and refinement with community involvement. By submitting an application and going through the selection process, players can not only evaluate the current version of the game, but also communicate directly with the developers.
The most active participants will receive valuable rewards: their names will be included in the game’s official credits, 20 people will receive keys to the extended release version on Steam, and the two most useful testers will receive exclusive merchandise. Meanwhile, the studio warned that the game’s early demo on Steam will be hidden on September 8 in preparation for a new testing phase.
