Independent developer Bulat Gaineev, part of a small team, presented his new project – an urban planning strategy with survival elements XIRI: Oasis City.
The game takes place in a technological future after the collapse of humanity, where players must manage a city controlled by artificial intelligence and balance natural disasters, cyber warfare, and the ambitions of independent companies.
Gameplay is built on tight control of resources and infrastructure, uniting humans, robots and drones. In addition to battling natural disasters (earthquakes, tornadoes, and sandstorms), players must establish complex diplomatic and economic relationships with neighboring settlements: forming alliances, granting loans, conducting industrial espionage, and conducting cyberattacks. Enterprises in the city will grow with the settlement and bring benefits, but they will gradually become uncontrollable forces.
