Fallout 76 developers are preparing quality-of-life updates for Skyline Valley. They decided to refresh the area, add new activities, and turn a familiar location into a place where players will have something to do even after wandering the wasteland so often.

Skyrim Valley will have a redesigned landscape: some mountains and slopes will be altered, new routes, trees and vegetation will appear, and improved lighting and weather will make the area more atmospheric. Notable attractions worth visiting include Three Pools, Millstone Arch, Tortoiseshell Weather Station, Old Crimola Mine, Rapidan Camp and Dark Hollow Estate.

A bounty hunting center led by robot brains Marshall Canton is set to appear in the Trade Post. Players must hunt down super mutants, moths, lost ones, and other opponents. In addition, a new collection chain will start in the area: a discovered glass container with suspicious contents will lead to a separate adventure.

These changes will also affect world pets. Pets will receive a redesigned experience system, allowing them to move to marked points and attack targets on command, even outside of combat. Directly from the VATS Settings tab, select a preset pet team and set a location when following your character.
