Spider-Man: Edge of Timea 2011 action game originally released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii, received Unofficial conversion for PC. Created by GenryTheFox, this project allows you to play natively on the platform.
We’re talking about a linear third-person action-adventure in which two versions of the protagonist alternate: Peter Parker and Spider-Man 2099. The two characters live in different eras, but their actions are connected. One of the core features of the game is that what one character does in the past can change the circumstances and events of another character’s era.

Both protagonists have different abilities: Peter Parker can use his spider-sense and super-sense to avoid danger and move quickly, while Spider-Man 2099 can create a bait that attracts enemy attacks. Both can also use time-related powers to temporarily slow down or immobilize opponents.
You can also use webs to move around, climb walls, and reach certain points with ranged attacks. However, Edge of Time stands out from the more exploration-oriented episodes: the adventure consists mostly of rooms, corridors, and industrial settings, leaving little room for the freedom of movement typical of other Spider-Man games.

One of the most interesting aspects of the new PC version is that Mouse and keyboard support. The project includes specific on-screen instructions for PC commands and allows you to reassign keys to provide a platform-appropriate control system, rather than simply converting the original commands.
GenryTheFox also joined Experimental modules for DLSS 5available as an additional option for owners of compatible NVIDIA RTX graphics cards. However, this is an experimental feature and not an official feature of the original game.
