The story of Crab Walk takes place in a vast post-apocalyptic wasteland, where a giant crab moves – players must build a settlement on its shell. The announcement also comes with a trailer featuring the first gameplay footage.
Each building in Crab Walk has its own shape (which changes when the building is combined), and each lintel has its own meaning: “When you build a city on a giant crab, you don’t want to sacrifice a centimeter”.
The user not only has to choose a creature to ride (in addition to crabs, cities can be built on spiders and scorpions), but also a rider to guide it – with different pairings having different preferences.
The development of the city will also depend on the choice of direction of movement – one road is safer, while another may be more profitable: each road has not only dangers, but also rewards.
They promise to combine thoughtful strategy with short-term runs, tough decisions with far-reaching consequences, powerful combos, combat, over 100 types of units, and support for 13 languages (including Russian).
Currently working on Crab Walking for PC (steam) and there is no release date, but the first public test will take place in 2027. A sequel to The King Is Watching isn’t a priority as the team is still finalizing the original game.
