Orcs and Undead clash in new Dawn of War IV gameplay footage

KING Art Games has revealed nearly 15 minutes of new gameplay from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV. This time, the developers have arranged a one-on-one match in Annihilation mode, pitting Orks against Necron.

In the demo, creative director Jan Theisen played the Orcs, focusing on their aggressive style, while the studio’s lead tester Orvi Tumel showed off the Necron’s abilities. In the video, you can see their arsenal of devastating weapons and late-game abilities, as well as the mode setting and some upcoming changes.

In particular, KING Art is improving the Necron Power Matrix system based on community feedback. Orks and Necron will be the four starting factions, along with Space Marines and Tech-Priests, and the Aftermath DLC will expand the game with the first additional army in the summer of 2027.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV will be released exclusively on Steam for PC on December 3.
