DOOM: Dark Ages, released last May, received positive reviews and became the second-best-selling Xbox game in 2025, according to analyst estimates. The shooter is also off to the best start in the series’ history in terms of player numbers, with its DLC becoming one of the highest-rated releases of 2026.

The teams at Xbox and Bethesda announced today that they are permanently lowering the price of DOOM: Dark Ages. Previously, the project’s premium AAA release price was $69.99 for the standard version. The basic version is now priced at $49.99 on all platforms. The Premium Edition, which includes the Revelation DLC (sold separately for $19.99) and some skins, is now available for $69.99.

In addition to the general price reduction on DOOM: Dark Ages, Game Pass subscribers can also take advantage of additional discounts. Users of Microsoft services can now purchase the standard version of the shooter for $39.99 and the premium version for $54.99.

Note that the cost of the Revelation DLC has not been reduced. Meanwhile, it’s on sale for 50% off just 3 weeks after launch, and you can expect it to receive a similar discount during the Xbox Fall Sale.
