At the opening of BlizzCon 2026, Blizzard officially launched a new shooting game based on the StarCraft universe. The project is being developed jointly with South Korea’s Nexon and is called “STARCRAFT” and is expected to be released in 2030.
The developer also released its first trailer alongside the announcement, describing the game as a story-driven, open-world action movie. Blizzard has yet to reveal details about gameplay, characters or world structure, promising to share more information later.
Judging from the description, players will have to continue the work of Dominion warriors who defend humanity in large-scale conflicts. There are no other details about StarCraft at this time.
