Paradox Interactive is adding additional new gameplay content to its city building simulation as part of Expansion Pass 2. Offer now live!
Paradox Interactive and Iceflake Studios today launched another expansion pass for the successful city-building simulation game Cities: Skylines II. Expansion Pass 2 is available now for €44.99 and will provide you with new expansions for the PC version of the game in the coming months. According to official data, compared with individual purchases, the price advantage is as high as 24%.
This is also the first expansion pass launched by Iceflake Studios since taking over development of the game late last year. On top of this you get a comprehensive parking system, a revamped tourism economy, a range of new commercial and residential buildings, complete emergency services infrastructure and more.
According to official information, the pass includes the following individual packages:
-
City Center Market: This instantly unlockable set adds a vibrant social hub to the city, made up of repurposed shipping containers and food trucks. Container doors form the center of the area, complemented by smaller shops. Individual food truck parking spaces can be placed anywhere in your city. A Scottish-style map of the temperate zone with lakes, rivers and ruins. This content will be unlocked immediately upon purchasing the Expansion Pass.
-
Park adventure: This expansion introduces a modular system for building parks. Players can design their own parking lot and fill it with elements from four different park types. City parks, zoos, amusement parks and nature reserves. The park is constantly being upgraded as it attracts visitors. With the new park management system, players can also manage admission fees, staff budgets and maintenance costs to keep their scores high. The expansion pack contains over 100 new items and five new cards.
-
City holidays: The expansion will revitalize the tourism industry with new visitor-focused buildings, landmarks and attractions. Now, visitor numbers fluctuate depending on the time of year. Using new management tools, players can control their city’s visitor flow, preferred transportation methods, and sales.
-
Creator Pack: Modern Suburbia (von “Trist1322”): This Creator’s Pack contains modern low-rise residential buildings, including mixed-use buildings and one- to three-story townhouses. They can be used either as stand-alone settlements or densified alongside existing residential areas in other areas.
-
Creator Pack: First Reactions (von “Arthaix”): Players can ensure emergency care is provided to their city – from small villages to metropolises! As the city develops, they can unlock a series of buildings dedicated to their respective emergency services: Fire Department, Civil Defense, Rescue Department, Police Department or the new integrated service “Joint Response”. There’s a solution for every potential emergency!
-
Card pack: Explore new horizons with the Uncle Ron map pack. The Creator Pack includes seven maps inspired by destinations around the world: from tropical islands to alpine valleys to desert canyons. Players can use it to unlock new vistas, challenges, and opportunities for their cities.
-
Street corner beats: Whether players are laying traffic lines late at night or watching city lights light up along the skyline, Corner Street Beats ensures the gameplay is far from over with late-night sounds designed specifically for city building.
