Remedy Entertainment has given a clear look at how Control Resonant will actually work on PlayStation 5. You can choose from various technical modes, some of which also offer 60 fps.
The release of Control Resonant is coming soon; it should be ready on September 24th. Not long ago, Remedy Entertainment finally clarified the technical model. It has previously been confirmed that frame rates of 60 fps can be achieved.
Now, there’s further commentary on the subject, at least as far as the PlayStation 5 is concerned. The Sony console also supports features such as the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers or 3D audio. Additionally, you can choose different technology modes on PS5 and PS5 Pro.
On the standard PlayStation 5, there’s a performance mode with a resolution of 1440p at 60 fps and a quality mode with a resolution of 2160p at 30 fps. The PS5 Pro even has three modes to choose from. Performance mode offers 2160p at 60 fps, while Quality mode also offers 2160p and 60 fps, but with ray tracing.
The third mode here is aimed at users with 120 Hz monitors, as they can choose balancing. Here, you get 2160p resolution (with ray tracing) and 40 fps. PSSR is used, but Remedy has not made it clear whether the revised version is supported.
