Forza Horizon 6 has new Drift Attack mode

Playground Games has added a dedicated drift mode “Drift Attack” to “Forza Horizon 6”. It follows the “time attack” principle: you just drive through the starting gate and start racing directly in the open world, without downloading or waiting in the lobby.

The race was held at Island Hill Speedway. Points are awarded for drifting, just like in Horizon Drift and Drift Zone, but there are also special shear zones on the track – drifting within these areas earns you extra points. Drift Attack shares the leaderboard with Time Attack and can be used in festival events after obtaining the yellow bracelet.

Completing missions in this mode will reward you with a racing suit and helmet, as well as a 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition. The regular version of XJ-S was also unveiled at the exhibition hall. Additionally, Season 5 of Cars UK Playlist has launched ten cars as bonuses, including three new Horizon Series cars.

The British car season runs until 8 October. The next series will be called Horizon Meets and will add Japanese convenience store-style temporary interactive objects, new content from EventLab, and cars never seen in the series.
