Lost Odyssey has been associated with the Xbox 360 for nearly two decades, but now, thanks to fan love, the iconic Japanese RPG has made its way to Windows. An unofficial PC port has appeared on the Internet, created based on a static recompile project.
The original game of Mistwalker was released in 2007 and is considered one of the most famous JRPGs of the Xbox 360 era. The storyline centers on Kaim, an immortal warrior who has lost his memory. His journey combines classic turn-based combat, a grand fantasy story and an unusual character development system.
The PC version of the project was recompiled by fans from source code and supports resolutions up to 4K, frame rates of 30 to 60 FPS, basic graphics settings, keyboards and game controllers.
As with other projects that recompile older consoles, this port does not contain the original game files. Users need to provide their own copy of Lost Odyssey in ROM/ISO format.
