The production of electric vehicles goes through a complete technical cycle, including small-scale welding, painting, anti-corrosion, assembly of machine components, commissioning, quality control and final testing of the finished product.
As a reminder, the Atom is a compact electric crossover that, according to the manufacturer, is about 70% domestically produced. The 150kW electric motor can accelerate the car to 100km/h in 7 seconds, which is roughly equivalent to a slightly above-average figure in general terms.
The main drawback of the Atom is the base price of 3,980,000 rubles. For that kind of money, it’s almost impossible to find a simple car enthusiast willing to spend money on a new, unknown electric car, especially a domestic one. It is clear that manufacturers place their main bets on legal entities – taxi fleets and fleets of commercial organizations – which, in general, do not have many options.
