The developers of MMORPG Embers of the Uncrowned have talked about new far-end Nightcrawlers, and that three existing classes will get alternative gender options.
The Nightcrawler was created as a silent hunter, surviving for years in the harsh land of eternal polar night. In combat, this class uses a unique resource called moonlight: unlike other characters, it starts by providing this resource and gradually uses it, so managing it directly affects survivability and the rhythm of combat.
The main feature is the Moonlight Arrow, which is released after a certain number of moves. Combining various skills can freeze opponents or help hunters disappear from sight. Because of this, Nightcrawler is able to act as a long-range sniper, freeze enemies, cast massive darkness, or use hit-and-run tactics.
Additionally, Executioner, Ghostblade, and Stormbringer will receive gender-specific appearances. Combat characteristics and class identity will remain the same – only the character’s visual options will change. The art for the female version of the Executioner is currently in development and will be revealed at a later date.
