The action RPG sequel has a specific release date, but you can try it out now. So you don’t have to wait months until early 2027 to get the first photos.

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja today officially confirmed the release date for action RPG sequel Crouching Dragon 2: Wings of Ash. So far, the sequel has been fully announced for early 2027, but now it’s clear: from March 4, 2027, this great title will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (Xbox on PC, Steam). The game will also be part of Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Pre-orders start as soon as the date is revealed; in turn celebrate with a fitting trailer and some fresh info. Even better: you can even get your own first impressions now, as the development team is making an alpha trial available for download for a limited time. You can get this content on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox for PC, and Steam.

In the free demo, you can check out the character creation system and online multiplayer for up to three players. You can explore the Changban wilderness, join forces with Liu Bei’s army to defeat Cao Cao’s army, and duel with demons. After completing the trial, you will receive the “Chick Phoenix Helmet” in the subsequent full version as a reward.

You can purchase the full version as a Standard Edition or as a Digital Deluxe Edition. In addition to the base game, the latter also includes the season pass and the “Creation God Armor” set as a reward. There are also three exclusive bonuses on board: a digital art book, digital mini soundtrack, and an iron hand hat.
