There was an Xbox live broadcast at the Tokyo Game Show, which showcased more than 15 games, the vast majority of which were projects by local Japanese developers. There were several announcements made at the show, as well as games for Game Pass. Some projects previously submitted for subscription have received release dates, and some games have been announced for the first time. There was also an unexpected release.
A total of seven Game Pass games were showcased on Xbox Streaming as part of the Tokyo Game Show. Read more about the announcement and trailer below.
Persona 4: Resurgence (New Trailer) – February 17, 2027
The show showed off a new trailer for Naoto Shirogane, one of the key characters in Persona 4. The film also showcases her new voice acting and confirms a previously announced release date. Let us remind you that Persona 4: Resurrection will receive a Russian localization.
Shape of Dreams (Announcements and Releases) – Available Now
The developers unexpectedly announced their Game Pass project and released it immediately – it’s already available. This is a fast-paced, top-down roguelike game where players can fight multiple opponents and combine different power combinations. You can fight in single-player mode or cooperatively with up to four people.
“Wolong 2: Wings of Ash” (new trailer) – March 4, 2027
The demo shows off expanded gameplay for Team NINJA’s sequel Wolong: Fallen Dynasty. Just yesterday, the developers announced the release date.
City of Hope (Announcement) – November 10, 2026
As soon as the game was announced, it was immediately announced that it would be released on Game Pass. This is an artist’s-eye-view detective story – players will explore the city, turn their sketches into evidence, and gradually uncover a strange secret about their family.
Raji: Kalyuga (new trailer) – no release date
The developer explains the gameplay and details the combat system. The game has yet to receive a release date.
Once Human: Archipelago of the Abyss (Updated) – October 22, 2026
The show has announced the release date for Once Human’s biggest update yet. It’s called the Abyssal Islands and has an ocean theme. The game itself is shareware, but Game Pass has rewards.
Fallout 76: The Slasher (Updated) – Out Now
Bethesda and Xbox have reminded that the new season of Fallout 76 has begun. Additionally, the game recently received a next-gen update.
