Publishers Dragami Games and Nada Holdings, along with developer JP Universe, have announced Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back for PlayStation 5. The game is expected to be released in 2027. The game will also be sold at the 2026 Tokyo Game Show.
The development team includes Hajime Tabata (director of Final Fantasy XV), Masahiro Yuki (co-producer and writer of the original Lollipop Chainsaw), and artist NekoshowguN (writer of concept art for the first part’s protagonist).
With a new identity and greater strength, Juliet returns to the rebuilt San Romero, which has become “Jared Wood” – a huge metropolis developed around the film industry. When a mysterious director traps her in his insane zombie movie, Juliette must fight alongside her allies to uncover the conspiracy behind the chaos and stop the new threat posed by zombies in a corrupt world.
