The cast of the Far Cry TV series has an even bigger name. An actor known for Apple TV’s hit series Widow’s Cove has now joined the cast.
As we all know, Ubisoft’s shooting game “Far Cry” will also be made into a TV series. FX has already signed big name Steve Buscemi for the project, but the cast continues to grow significantly now.
According to industry magazine reports type Now the man has five more names. The cast also includes Hamish Linklater, most recently known for his role in Apple TV’s hit series Widow’s Cove. The show is considered one of Emmy darlings.
In addition to Linklater, Brendan Gleeson (“Inishereen”), Jennifer Jason Leigh (“The Hateful Eight”), Sam Spruill (“Alien: Earth”) and Jamie Demetriou (“Fleabag,” “Rose”) will also receive the honor. The mentioned Steve Buscemi, along with Rob McElhenney and Lizzy Caplan, had previously been confirmed for Far Cry.
The series is adapted from Ubisoft’s shooting game series started in 2004. There are currently no official plot details, so the extent to which specific game materials will be used remains to be seen. So far, Ubisoft and FX have only confirmed a few seasons will be released in an anthology format. In short: each season has its own story and its own cast.
