Standing Stone Games has announced a new date for increasing the multi-month subscription fee for multiplayer role-playing game The Lord of the Rings Online, moving it to October 14th. The changes will affect three-month, semi-annual and annual plans, while standard monthly subscriptions will remain unchanged at $15.
Under the updated terms, a three-month subscription will increase from $10 to $14, a six-month subscription will increase from $10 to $13, and an annual subscription will increase from $8.33 to $12 per month. Meanwhile, the developer noted that players who subscribed or renewed before October 13 will be able to lock in the old price until December 31, 2027.
