The Rockstar Games fan community is rocked by a massive new leak containing behind-the-scenes footage of the highly anticipated open-world crime thriller GTA VI and its predecessor, GTA V.

It’s worth mentioning that this leak is not new. 192 GB archive released to the public domain represent The complete GTA V source code, stolen from Rockstar in 2022 by 18-year-old hacker Arion Kurtaj.
As the portal points out video cardzthis archive containing material from Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto VI was released in its entirety a year ago in an upset chat on a closed Discord server, but subsequently went largely unnoticed.
Still, there’s a wealth of new material in the archives, including early development of the Leonidas map (Blockade) and individual buildings from GTA VI (pictured above). The documents date back to 2015, making them 11 years old.
There is much more leaked GTA V content: debug builds, a map of Liberty City (the city was originally supposed to appear in the DLC), canceled story additions, deleted missions, vehicles, dialogues, characters, locations, and more.

Because the leak is new and large, data prospectors are just beginning to parse the data arrays. The community will likely compile a more accurate list of leaked material for GTA V and GTA VI in the coming days.
GTA VI will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X and S on November 19th. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time the game has leaked in 2026: from August 18th to 27th, activist/group Cyberleek leaked over half an hour of gameplay from a near-release version into the public domain.
