At the last Tokyo Game Show 2026, Final Fantasy 7: Revelations director Naoki Hamaguchi gave a detailed interview, answering the main questions from players and media about the scope of the final part of the trilogy. The director assured that the heavy content and restrictions in the press demo were meant to showcase the diversity of the world, while the public demo offered a more focused gameplay.
Among the key themes of the conversation, Hamaguchi confirmed that the game will take up around 200 GB of space, which will require any additional downloads for the physical version. In addition, the developer plans to launch two story DLCs dedicated to Vincent and Sephiroth, while Final Fantasy 7: Revelations itself will be released on April 8, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
