A few days ago, Netflix showed the logo of “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Sorcerer’s Nephew”, and then the film appeared on the cover of “Empire” magazine: the reporter interviewed the author of the film, Greta Gerwig (Barbie), and shared the first scene with the main character.
It also doesn’t show the White Witch, just Jadis (Emma Mackie, “Sex Education”) with young Digory and Polly. The events of the film adaptation will not take place at the beginning of the last century, as in the book, but after World War II.
