Rebel Wolf’s action RPG Blood of the Dawn Treader has achieved impressive results, surpassing the one million copy sales mark in just two days after its release in September. Amid commercial success and a shortage of physical copies, game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz confirmed plans to turn the project into a full-fledged series, allowing the controversial time mechanic to return in future sequels if the plot makes sense.
Although the strict timers and dynamic loops elicited mixed reactions from players (leading to popular modifications such as “Better Story Timers”), the team intends to continue experimenting with the genre.
Tomaszkowicz noted that the studio is exploring other non-standard ideas developed for the series in an attempt to surprise fans in the next installment of the saga.
