The news surrounding Game Pass subscriptions this past gaming week (September 12-19) was very interesting. The service has announced a number of new products, Game Pass games received new trailers at the Tokyo Game Show, and rumors are growing that Xbox will soon stop releasing its games on subscription launch day. New games in Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Premium
This week, the following people successfully joined the Game Pass gaming service:
- Runescape: Dragonwild (Xbox, PC) — Ultimate, Premium and PC
- Marvel Universe Invasion (Xbox, PC) – Premium, previously released in Ultimate and PC
- Lana Planet II (Xbox, PC) – Premium, previously released in Ultimate and PC
- conventional (Xbox, PC) – Premium, previously released in Ultimate and PC
- Ultimate Sheep Raccoon (Xbox, PC) – Premium, previously released in Ultimate and PC
- Animo (Xbox, PC) – Rewards for all Game Pass tiers
- core heart (Xbox, PC) — Ultimate Edition, PC
- Ninja Gaiden 4 (Xbox, PC) – Premium, previously released in Ultimate and PC
- dream shape (Xbox, PC)—Ultimate Edition, Advanced Edition, PC
Only 3 games in the list have been added to the Ultimate tier, but the Xbox team is still actively expanding Premium subscriptions.

September-October Game Pass Announcement
This week, Microsoft announced the second wave of Game Pass games for September and mentioned several projects for October. The list is as follows:
- Dune: Awakening (Xbox, PC) – 22 сентября (Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, PC)
- good residents (Xbox, PC) – 22 сентября (Game Pass Ultimate, PC)
- Mad King’s Redemption (Xbox, PC) – 23 сентября (Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, PC)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (Xbox, PC) – September 25 (Game Pass Premium, now available on Ultimate and PC)
- Minecraft Dungeons II (Xbox, PC) – 29 сентября (Game Pass Ultimate, PC)
- guardian (Xbox, PC) – October 2 (Game Pass Premium, now available on Ultimate and PC)
- Gears of War: E-Day (Xbox, PC) – 6 октября (Game Pass Ultimate, PC)
- Chained Beast (Xbox, PC) — 15 октября (Game Pass Ultimate, PC)

Tokyo Game Show Announcement
During the Tokyo Game Show event, Game Pass showcased 7 games, but only 2 new products were announced. But some previously announced games for the service already have release dates. The following content appeared during the Xbox broadcast from the Japan show:
- dream shape — Available immediately after announcement
- Fallout 76: Hitman (UPDATE) – Now available
- Once Human: Abyssal Islands (Updated) – October 22, 2026
- hope in the city — November 10, 2026
- Persona 4 Resurgence — February 17, 2027
- Wolong 2: Wings of Ashes — March 4, 2027
- Raj: Kalyuga – No release date

3 Game Pass Essential games
The lowest-cost Game Pass tier gets two new games this week:
- no man’s sky
- theHunter: Call of the Wild
they also announced that a Game Pass Essential game is coming to the service:
- Rematch – Xbox, PC (September 25)
Please note that all items added to the Essential tier are already available in other Game Pass tiers.
The game will be removed from Game Pass at the end of September
Game Pass will lose 8 games on September 30th:
- Atomic Fall (Xbox, PC)
- Lara Croft and the Keeper of Light (Xbox, PC)
- Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition (Xbox, PC)
- Little Rocket Lab (Xbox, PC)
- Master (Xbox, PC)
- SOPA Stolen Potato Story (Xbox, PC)
- Oath (Xbox, PC)
- Terminal Brigade (Xbox, PC)
The items listed will be out of service at all levels.
