In Graveyard Keeper 2, zombies don’t just work for free in the cemetery. The developers showed off the combat system and told players how to liberate a city overrun by the dead and then repair it.

Combat will be part of the story progression: the city will not be won just for good behavior – it must be truly conquered. Battles will take place on specific days of the week, as will other important Warlord events. The rest of the time you can fight in the sewers, which are always open. Apparently, somewhere deep in the city lies an even stranger place called the Canal.

Street fighting will take place in some areas of the city, and after victory, these areas will start to come alive, filled with residents and shops. The locations differ in terms of combat: in the square you have to fight off attackers from all directions, while in the central street you have to attack in several directions at the same time and capture control points.

Before the battle, you can prepare and use your own products. The materials are used to build barricades and towers that can hold back the hordes, while the zombies you raise become combat assistants. You can place them yourself, or lead the attack yourself. The developers promise different styles of playthroughs – from armies of archers and traps to potions and “continue” tactics.
