Hello World Studios has launched its first project called BELTFED – Roguelike Factory Defense. Development of the game began as early as October 2023, but only now has a full demo been given and a page opened on the Steam service. The project combines industrial automation mechanics in the spirit of classic production simulators with a dynamic roguelike structure with base defense elements.
In BELTFED, players will build conveyors, smelters, and assembly lines to convert raw ore into a steady stream of ammunition for machine guns, flamethrowers, rocket launchers, mortars, and lasers.
The main task is to protect the Nexus core from the countless hordes of bugs that fill the screen, and the number of destroyed enemies in a successful run can exceed a million. The project offers constant progression between missions, upgrade cards that change your playstyle, customizable equipment, and travel to different planets with unique conditions.
