September and October of this year are expected to be very busy months for major releases, including for Xbox consoles. Next week, September 21-25, more than 50 games are scheduled to release on Xbox. The list includes proven PC projects, anticipated new projects, and small potential indie hits.
Main releases this week
The Samson-Tyndaleston Story (September 21). The dark action game was released on PC earlier this year and is now coming to consoles. The game is often compared to Driver and Mad Max, but it has a more linear structure. The project has received “mixed” reviews on Steam.
“Dune: Awakening” (September 22). The multiplayer game based on last year’s Dune series is coming to consoles. Tests have emerged showing how the project will run on Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, the developers are adding a full-fledged single-player mode to the game when it launches on the console.
(September 24). A new product from Remedy Studios is getting high praise from critics, but it’s not without its flaws. Journalists criticized its combat system, and the game also had performance issues on consoles.
EA Sports FC 27 (September 25). Another new part of Electronic Arts Football Simulator. Purchasers of the Enhanced Edition and Game Pass subscribers can already get early access to the version, with the full version scheduled for release on September 25th. The project is launching simultaneously on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One.
