You’ll be able to get your thoughts on the new Castlevania game ahead of its release. Konami has now announced that a playable demo will be available starting in October.
The long-running successful Castlevania series will launch a new title, The Belmont Curse, this October. You’ll be able to check out the title for yourself before the full version launches on October 15, 2026. Konami has now confirmed the early release of a playable trial.
The trial version of “Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse” will be launched at the beginning of the new year starting on October 1, 2026. The opening chapter of the new game will be available at that time. If you do this in the demo, you can even transfer your save state to a later full version and continue immediately – provided you play the demo and full version on the same platform.
The demo is scheduled to be released on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC (via Steam). The storage space required for downloads varies by platform. PS5 requires 6 GB and Xbox requires 5 GB. The PC version has 4 GB, and on Nintendo Switch you must plan at least 3 GB of storage space.
In addition to the beta, Konami has now confirmed that the game will support 60 fps on all platforms – except Nintendo Switch. On Japanese consoles, the frame rate is limited to 30 fps.
