Bungie Studio Head – Poria Torkan, Studio Head and General Manager marathon Josh Deane – Posted a lengthy video and message in which they openly admitted past mistakes, loss of player trust, and changing priorities. Management announced a sweeping change of strategy aimed at putting players back in the developer’s spotlight.
For Destiny fans, the main announcement is the decision to bring previously removed content (campaigns, locations, and raids from the Vault) back into Destiny 2, making them free for all players to use despite the technical difficulties of adapting them to modern systems.
In turn, the marathon shooter will continue to evolve as developers plan to expand the game into a deeper survival experience, giving players more freedom to choose between cooperative PvE, competitive PvP, and intense PvPvE modes without strict genre boundaries.
