With just days left until the release of Tempest Rising’s Veti’s Wrath, the developer is starting to introduce players to the new faction’s war machines. The first is its infrastructure—from industrial buildings to superweapons.
The centerpiece of Viti’s base will be the resurrection anchor, sending servitors to build the remaining structures. Infantry is produced by Ziggurat, vehicles are assembled by War Assembly, and aircraft are produced by Tianmen. The Veti Eye is responsible for technology and detection of hidden enemies, which can also be used with more advanced units as you level up your Awakening.
Экономика фракции тоже устроена необычно. Power Vault одновременно генерирует и хранит Tempest, причём способен отбиваться при атаке. Refinement Altar подключается к месторождению Tempest и добывает ресурсы, не расходуя сами Tempest Pods. Corral периодически создаёт Enlightened, а Ascension Anchor усиливает привязанное к нему здание и формирует защитное поле.
Для обороны Veti получат Phantom Turret с телепортируемыми взрывчатками, Host Tower с роем взрывающихся Tempest Fireflies и Golden Cannon, чей луч игнорирует броню и сопротивления. Наконец, Sanctifier Portal позволит временно призвать на поле боя Sanctifier — воплощение очищающей ярости Veti. Дополнение Veti’s Wrath выйдет 29 сентября.
