Crater Studios has released Gravebound, a cooperative third-person action shooter, into early access. The game can be purchased on PC through the service steam Taking into account the 10% starting discount, the price is 495 rubles. Only English is supported in the language.
Gravebound’s early access period will last 10 to 18 months. As we get closer to release, the author plans to expand the basic gameplay by adding new maps, factions, weapons, enemies, and evacuation scenarios. The possibility of improving the combat system and progression is also being considered. Possible additions could include bosses, dynamic events, and faction-related missions. The final content lineup will be determined based on player feedback and development priorities.
Gravebound is a six-player cooperative escape shooter set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where humanity has disappeared and hostile devices have taken control of the devastated world. Players band together into squads, explore territory, fight mechanical opponents, participate in various activities and collect loot, after which they must try to escape with the resources they find. These challenges involve large electrical bosses, each with their own attacks and mechanics. Failure to complete a mission may deprive the squad of collected resources, so the balance between further advancement and safe evacuation must be considered during each expedition.
Progression is divided into attempts outside the wasteland and character development. During missions, players can find weapon stations where they can upgrade weapons and armor to increase damage, magazine capacity, and other features. Constant evolution allows you to discover new skills and create character specializations based on your preferred play style. Therefore, the game loop revolves around exploring dangerous territory, finding loot, temporarily strengthening equipment, fighting ordinary enemies and bosses, and then evacuating, with the accumulated progress used to prepare for the next attack.
