At the Snapdragon Summit, Motorola launched the Signature 27. It is the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor and was also announced at the same event.

The Motorola Signature 27 becomes the second smartphone in the series and the first model to receive a new numerical name – the last two digits will help clearly and consistently identify the device for future generations in the coming year. Powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, developers promise that the smartphone will deliver advanced performance not only at launch but also in the long run. The proprietary ArcticMesh cooling system is also responsible for the device’s high speed – it includes thermal gel with diamond particles, a liquid metal component, copper mesh and an upgraded evaporation chamber. The cooling system is 40% larger than the previous generation model, so the smartphone can effectively dissipate heat when using AI for long periods of time, such as gaming and video playback.
It should be emphasized that the Motorola Signature 27 will receive operating system updates for seven years. Google Gemini has a full range of AI capabilities, including the use of AI agents for content generation and task execution. Lyria technology lets you generate music, and Gemini Omni models create videos from text descriptions, images, and videos specified as samples.
The main camera is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 910 sensor, supplemented by a 20-megapixel model equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, which enables high-quality shooting. There’s also the proprietary Motorola Video Enhancement Engine – a system that uses artificial intelligence to analyze scenes before and during shooting, automatically adjusting color tones. Qualcomm Technologies electronic anti-shake technology is supplemented by optical anti-shake with a correction angle of 3.5°. Bang & Olufsen Solutions responsible for high-quality sound – Motorola has signed a partnership agreement with the audio equipment manufacturer.
The smartphone is available in Pantone Coal Smoke (black) and Pantone Capulet Green, with the former using a Tactical Weave texture that embodies the spirit of the automotive industry and high-tech sports equipment, and Pantone Capulet Green using a textile-like texture to create a soft and comfortable feel. Motorola Signature 27 will be available before the end of this year, and the specific release date and suggested retail price will be announced later.
