Logitech has launched a new flagship mouse, the G Pro X3 Superstrike, for gamers. The new product differs from its predecessor, the G Pro X2 Superstrike, with updated sensors and improved autonomy.

The Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike continues to use a HITS (Hactile Induction Trigger System) switch system, which works similarly to gaming keyboards that use Hall effect switches. It replaces the optical and mechanical trigger mechanisms found in traditional gaming mice with a contactless system that uses copper coils to create an electromagnetic field and detect changes in that field to activate a switch. According to Logitech, HITS responds 30 milliseconds faster than other wireless mouse switches operating in 8kHz polling rate mode. This mouse offers five fully programmable switches.
HITS switches feature 10 levels of actuation point adjustment, 5 levels of fast actuation, and 6 levels of feedback strength. HITS systems allow keys to be dynamically activated and deactivated based on movement rather than relying on predetermined actuation points. This reduces the delay between press and release, speeds up repeated presses, and makes it easier to perform fast and repetitive actions. All switch settings can be performed through the proprietary Logitech G HUB utility.
Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike is a custom system using NxLOGI chipset and Hero 2 sensor. This chipset is responsible for reducing latency and extending the mouse’s battery life, which has been increased to 135 hours (versus 90 hours on the G Pro X2 Superstrike). The new Hero 2 sensor supports a resolution of 48,000 DPI (previously 44,000 DPI), a maximum speed of 930 IPS, and 90G acceleration.
The new Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike mouse is lighter. It weighs 59 grams (61 grams in EMEA). For comparison, the predecessor weighed 65 grams. At the same time, the new model becomes slightly larger – its dimensions are 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm.
The G Pro X3 Superstrike can operate at a polling rate of 8000 Hz in both wired and wireless modes. In wireless mode, use a Lightspeed adapter for this purpose.
The mouse will be available in black and purple versions. It will be available on October 6th. The company prices it at $179.99 or 179.99 euros.
