
The multiplayer shooting game “Arc Raiders” has experienced serious player losses throughout the year, largely due to the large number of dishonest users in the PvP lobby. The issue has even affected high-profile content creators, many of whom have refused to broadcast due to the dominance of aimbots, wallhacks, and ad-hoc replication exploits.
Executive producer Alexander Gröndal acknowledged the scale of the difficulty, noting the sheer scale of the modern cybercrime industry. According to him, the team is constantly introducing comprehensive protection technologies, including data analysis and new internal systems. While the upcoming October Frozen Trail update won’t bring any specific security features, security improvements will be made regularly in the background without major announcements.
