Rainbow Six: Siege has been updated to version Y11S3.1, which doesn’t try to subvert the usual meta, but rather significantly tweaks certain elements of the game. Several agents received small buffs, and some bugs were finally sent back to where they belonged.
These changes affect Baku, Citadel, Fenrir, Master, Termite, and Sledge. The ammo capacity of Baku’s Master Key has been increased from 31 to 36 rounds, and the castle’s armor plates now require 10 hits to destroy (instead of 9). Fenrir’s F-NATT Terror Mine reaches maximum gas range faster, taking 1.9 seconds instead of 2 seconds. Evil Eye Master’s battery life has been extended from eight seconds to nine seconds.
Termites received an exothermic charge buff: damage increased from 200 units to 220 units. Sledge can now swing the Hammer faster – the time has been reduced from 1 second to 0.8 seconds. There are also changes to the shotguns: the damage of the M1014 has been increased from 28 to 30, and the damage of the SPAS-15 has been increased from 24 to 26. These changes affect Ace, Castle, Pulse and Termite, as well as Caveira and Thunderbird respectively.
A large patch block is dedicated to repairs. The developers have fixed many issues with Nur and his Lance of Horus: shields should no longer stack incorrectly, operators will no longer be able to remove the device inappropriately, and its fire should deal damage and display correctly. Also fixed Horus Lance’s interactions with Hawk, Blackbeard, and other agents.
Additionally, bugs in the House, Villa, and Consulate maps have been fixed, as well as icon display issues in Team Deathmatch and the Compass, as well as some annoyances with match replays, team colors, and the Shooting Gallery. Finally, players in a group should now correctly reconnect to an ongoing match after being disconnected.
