The long-suffering adventure Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development, despite its record-breaking start back in 2008. Developer Rick Godwin from Ubisoft Bordeaux Studio said on the Bluesky social network that he has been involved in the development of the game in an advisory capacity for the past few months. This announcement once again officially confirms that the publisher has no plans to end its ambitious long-term construction.
Previously, the company’s management has stated many times that it will continue to actively carry out back-end work despite multiple changes in management and long-term silence. This dedication from the publisher has already helped lead to the release of another long-established company, the pirate action game Skull and Bones. The gaming community still hopes to be able to quickly reveal relevant materials for the project.
