This week, Black Desert introduces a new skill for all characters, expands how to obtain the Ra Orzerkia costume, and adds the Treasure Encyclopedia, a system for organizing and tracking player treasure.
The most important innovation is the new public skills available to all players. This is an additional move used in combat. For those who have already explored the lands of Idania, this may look familiar. With its help, you can knock down monsters and knock out other players. So far, these are the only features available for the skill, but the developers are already working on making it useful in PvP combat.
The Ra Orzerkia costume is made from materials obtained from the monster hunting areas of Kamasylvia and Odyllite. These materials can now be used to craft clothing in Ellan Serwyn’s scenic locations, so players don’t have to return to their original farmland.
The barter system has also received many improvements. Now you can accept missions, use shops and warehouses, replenish supplies and repair equipment without leaving home. Information about the distance to each island has also been added, making planning trade routes easier
Another innovation is the “Treasure Encyclopedia”. It allows you to view information about treasures (from their types to the materials required to create them), as well as learn how to obtain them and the recipes for making them. Using the Codex, you can set goals to find specific treasures.
