Finnish studio Remedy’s new adventure action game “Control Resonant” was successfully launched on the Steam platform, ranking first in global sales.
The game’s launch also received positive reviews: the game’s rating remains at around 88%, with gamers praising the brand’s crazy style, dark atmosphere and smooth controls. A notable feature of this launch was the reaction from the piracy community, many of whom decided to ditch the cracked versions and buy genuine copies in order to save the studio from its financial woes, and encouraged players to do the same.
The team from Helsinki has thirty-one years of experience creating unique and original projects, including Max Payne, Alan Wake and Control Part 1. High production standards and the lack of a large audience often put studios on the edge of survival, this time even forcing hackers to offer rubles to developers. Parts of the Pirates community still express a lack of money, but the overall sentiment among fans is one of unity.
