On September 17, the developers of Prince of Persia released an anniversary update to mark the first anniversary of the full release of the project, which had previously been in Early Access. Now Evil Empire Studios declarethis update is the last update for the game. According to them, they no longer plan to add new content, mechanics, or make balance changes.
In a speech to players, the author of “Prince of Persia” thanked everyone who tried the project, noting that its audience has exceeded 1 million people. It is worth mentioning that the game has been available on Game Pass since the release of version 1.0.
Prince of Persia has over a million players, which is incredible considering it’s our studio’s first game. It’s been a privilege to work on such an iconic series, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has played, supported us, or followed us.
Let us remind you that Evil Empire Studios is also working on Castlevania: The Curse of Belmont, which will be released on October 15 and will be the long-awaited revival of the series.
