Two months after the massive launch of Project Zomboid’s 40th version, Indie Stone Studios has begun a regular cycle of improvements. The first incremental update, numbered 42.21, is designed to improve survival comfort and network mode stability. In addition to eliminating bugs like missing zombies and out-of-sync shipping, the author also focuses on small things like packaging antibiotics, fixing dirty rag cleaning issues, and getting the welding industry off to a good start.

The split screen has been specially polished, and experience transfer, general book status, and crashes during joint travel have been fixed. The team’s plan was to completely rebuild the content release schedule: move the project to a frequently iterated model with test branches, and then move it to a release state in a timely manner.
